The Bikin Blazers was formed when some members of the Blazers Ski club began biking to stay in shape for their winter skiing activities. They soon connected with some unaffiliated cyclists and began biking together. In 1990 led by Diona Cobb they began to organize to become a cycling club. Her efforts then launched the club to be know as the Bikin' Blazers. Since that time many changes have taken place but the cycling club continues to thrive. Over the years we have increased membership while maintaining a modest membership fee. The club is located in the Philadelphia area and does rides in and around the area. We also participate in rides hosted by other clubs and organizations throughout an area spanning north to New York state and south to the Washington/Virginia areas.
